Stoicism is a school of ancient philosophy founded in Greece and popularized in Rome. The most renown stoic writers are Seneca, Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius and Zeno. In a nutshell, stoicism teaches a person to rid themselves of being dependent and influenced by external conditions, such as wealth, people, challenges, and obstacles. Stoicism is the most antifragile mental operating system for life because it frees you from having to worry about what could happen to you because of not giving a shit about the useless things that don't really matter in life.

Marcus Aurelius's wisdom posits that every challenge we face is within our capacity to withstand. This philosophy encourages resilience by reminding us that we possess the strength necessary to endure any adversity that comes our way.

This design is my tribute to Marcus Aurelius, the Roman Emperor from 161 to 180 AD. He was not the first but he was probably one or the only Emperor in Ancient Rome who really lived by the wisdom from stoic philosophy. Even more remarkable, is that Marcus personal notebook survived and is still read today, around 2000 years later! The text goes under the name "Meditations".
