The Kuban People's Republic or Kuban National Republic (KPR or KNR; Russian: Кубанская Народная Республика, romanized: Kubanskaya Narodnaya Respublika; Ukrainian: Кубанська Народна Республiка, romanized: Kubanska Narodna Respublika) was an anti-Bolshevik state during the Russian Civil War, comprising the territory of the Kuban region in Russia.

As a devoted, lifelong student, Krupskaya began to participate in several discussion circles. These groups got together to study and discuss particular topics for the benefit of everyone involved. Bavu! is a 1923 silent American drama film directed by Stuart Paton, starring Wallace Beery in the title role, and written by Albert Kenyon and Raymond L. Schrock based upon a play by Earl Carroll. The film is a period piece involving Bolsheviks and the Russian Revolution. Motion Picture News said of the film: "A Russian revolutionist incites the peasantry to burn the city. Mischka, a former servant in the nobleman's home, is commissioner of licenses under the new administration. He loves the princess and in order to get her out of the country it is necessary to have the passport sealed with the revolutionist's ring. With no prints of Bavu! found in any film archives, it is considered a lost film.
