An A5 watercolour painting... I always loved that story of Thumbelina, the thought of being so tiny was so appealing. It's one of those childhood memories so readily remembered, Thumbelina makes me think instantly of the illustrations in the beautiful story book I had. This is my offering, the muted palette is a nod to the story being from times past.
