Greys are a popular alien species and there is a lot of confusion. There are a lot of Grey-like aliens from a lot of places, but this symbol is specific to the Grey Federation. On a parallel earth, humans made a lot of mistakes: forgoing emotions, cloning instead of love making, not caring for the planet. Well, like humans, they realized the mistake at the 11th hour. The only option was to tunnel to a parallel reality earth, make some agreements to use some healthy genetic material to save what was left of their race. This caused the abduction phenomenon, and lead to the creation of the five New Hybrid races. The color bands symbolize the dark past (black), the emotionless period (grey) and the eventual positive transformation (white)

It never ceases to amaze me how agile and adept at climbing these little squirrels are... Most mornings I see them socialising, gathering and stashing nuts, and even chasing and teasing the next door neighbours cat... I took this image using a sony hybrid camera and because of the artifacting created - had to work in post using photoshop to remove the rendition created... It had been a shot that I had been waiting for - for quite some time and the image was left on my virtual desktop for some months... for me to think about how I would work the image... Compared to the original jpeg - I am very happy with the result.
