High Royds Hospital is a former psychiatric hospital south of the village of Menston, West Yorkshire, England. The hospital is located within in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough and was first opened on 8 October 1888 as the West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum. The hospital closed in 2003 and the site has since been developed for residential use, some of which is in the old hospital buildings.

Part of a series of designs inspired by my children's picture book "The City Zoo" (available on Amazon). The animals all get jobs that suit their bodily attributes. In this instance gorillas playing Rugby! Kids love stories and this design celebrates reading and the love of books.

Voice to Parliament - Vote Yes The voice would advise the Australian parliament and government on matters relating to the social, spiritual and economic wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It would be a permanent body representing First Nations people that would advise government about policies affecting Indigenous people. The Voice would be an advisory body, but it would not have powers to overrule parliament, commonly known as "veto" powers. The Uluru Statement calls for the 'establishment of a First Nations Voice enshrined in the Constitution'.

Pleasure and pain, beauty and ugliness are all part of the duality known as Samsara. This design is based on an original oil painting by me, of this very beautiful black stallion. I had a cosmic connection with him whilst at the Royal Easter Show Sydney.

I met this hen at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney Australia. She was so beautiful I asked "may I paint your visage"? She replied "cluck cluck cluck"...which I assumed was a "yes"!

This design is based on an old photo from my grandmothers dementia memory suitcase. It is a treasure trove of faded memories.

I sketched this bird in Chinatown Sydney Australia. The store owner was most fascinated at my interest in his dead birds....so interested he chased me away with a meat cleaver!
