One of the longest lasting animated cartoon characters, Felix the Cat, created by animator Otto Messmer, made his 1919 theatrical debut as one of several cartoon components in Paramount Screen Magazine split-reels, then graduated to a standalone series in 1922. He was the star of an experimental TV broadcast in 1928, and the basis for a classic (but unauthorized!) wall-clock design. Felix's adorable appearance, witty personality, love of high living, and comically versatile tail helped him achieve a level of popularity that he maintained until 1929, when a certain mouse's sound cartoons started to grow in popularity and studio founder/CEO Pat Sullivan refused to produce sound films.

The 80s classic martial arts slugfest pitting fighters of different styles in a secret underground tournament hosted by the Triads in Hong Kong. Exciting right? You betcha! Not only is the action choreography top notch, the music, one-liners and cast of colorful characters combine to make this a cult favorite many times over. Meet the villain of Monster Verse!

Skull Island is the name most often used to describe a fictional island that first appeared in the 1933 film King Kong and later appearing in its sequels, the two remakes, and any other King Kong-based media. It is the home of the eponymous King Kong and several other species of creatures, mostly prehistoric and in some cases species that should have been extinct long before the rise of mammalian creatures, along with a primitive society of humans.
