The fictional 1930-31 expedition which featured inby H.P. Lovecraft's story 'At the Mountains of Madness'. The two ships, the S.S. Arkham and the S.S. Miskatonic, carried the ill fated Pabodie Expedition to Antarctica.

The fictional 1933 expedition was the follow up journey to Antarctica after the events of the Pabodie Expedition of 1930/31 which was detailed in Lovecraft's 'At the Mountains of Madness'. The ship the S.S. Gabrielle, carried the Expedition to Antarctica.
