Prague (/prɑːɡ/; Czech: Praha [ˈpraɦa] (About this soundlisten), German: Prag, Latin: Praga) is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, the 13th largest city in the European Union[8] and the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated on the Vltava river, Prague is home to about 1.3 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of 2.7 million.[4] The city has a temperate oceanic climate, with relatively warm summers and chilly winters.

The Nuselský brewery and its buildings are located in the Nuselský valley in the area between Bělehradská , Otakarová and Křesomyslová streets near the Na Fidlovačce theater on the right bank of the Botič in the Prague 4 district of Nusle . The brewery , which was founded here by Count Jan Josef Sezima of Vrtba in 1694 , was bought from the aristocratic owners in 1857 by a burgher Antonín Procházka. In 1897, the brewery was purchased by the Prague Credit Bank and the Joint-Stock Brewery was established in Nusle near Prague .

This derelict bridge can be seen along the river Vltava in the Bohemian town of Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic.

The Old Jewish Cemetery lies in the Josefov, the Jewish Quarter of Prague in the Czech Republic. It was in use from the early 15th century until 1787. Its ancestor was a cemetery called "The Jewish Garden", which was found in archaeological excavations under the Vladislavova street, New Town. The numbers of grave stones and numbers of people buried there are uncertain, because there are layers of tombs. However, it has been estimated that there are approximately 12,000 tombstones presently visible, and there may be as many as 100,000 burials in all. Walking among these old tombs near the Pinkas synagogue was a poignant experience on that dark November afternoon. (Nikon Coolpix P510)
