Marvel/DC hangout: Plastic Man and Mr. Fantastic playing Twister. I mean when these universes actually collide, why would they fight. So here's one from a series of characters just hanging out.
The “Long Arm Of The Law” drops a mean elbow. Then, he’s back up and off the ropes. No, wait… He is the ropes! How do you pin an opponent who can raise his shoulders from the mat to the rafters…? It can’t be done! He’ll save the day and steal the show, so cheer him on with this homage to the Rubber Bandit by way of the legendary Macho Man.
I came up with this design about a hundred years ago, while designing pro wrestling parody shirts. Obviously, it never found a home amongst those designs, but it’s been bouncing around in my head ever since. My favorite wrestling legend crossed with my favorite superhero in one simple, yet elegant stroke of spoofy genius.
