Because a Ball is Born to Play Pin

Hundreds of years ago, someone decided to create something that looked like me – A Ball. But that wasn’t the end of it of course. I was honed to become way more circular, and so, I was born to play. There wasn’t just one of me, but many of me created for the sole purpose of being hit around and at, thrown around, fly around, get splashed in mud or be put in sweaty hands or arms even. But just for the sake of my glory forget all that and remember the good things like how important I am, and basically, there’d be no sports without me. Ha!
