Getting Personal: Medical Marijuana has been my saving-grace. For my entire life I've suffered from severe chronic pain and from a very young age have been prescribed opioids, narcotics, and go through bottles of tylenol and ibuprofen like nothing. I have several autoimmune disease diagnosis that cause severe inflammatory issues, as well as mental health issues. I currently live in New York State, so Medical Marijuana has a LONG WAY to go as far as acceptance, more options, and definitely more affordable pricing, but hopefully someday...people can put aside their former beliefs of this drug (like I have had to), and realize that this is something that is helping people and changing their lives for the better.
