The route to nowhere is a hand drawn illustration digitised to vector format depicting a bricked road passing through the edge of a forest where small creatures live. The road leads to a very curved bridge which is difficult to climb and which leads to nowhere. Beyond in the horizon are hills and a city. The river passing under the bridge has many sea creatures floating in it. The illustration is based on a fair tale type of scenario. A fantasy world which can be used for both children and adult. The illustration has a parallel to the wizard of oz story where the brick road leads to emerald city. Howver, in this illustration the yellow brick road has no colour and leads no where, passing through a dream-like world of little creatures.

Constructed in 1909, the building was designated as a Heritage Property by the City of Toronto in 1973. After 3 years of planning and 10 years of construction, Toronto's third city hall was completed in 1899 and became home to the city council until 1966. Today the building serves as a court house for the Ontario Court of Justice and was designated a National Historic Site in 1989. The clock tower from 130 Queen St W. Built in 1832, Osgoode Hall at No 130 Queen St W in Toronto Canada sits on six acre of land at what was once the northwest edge of the city. Today it houses the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice and is the headquarters for the Law Society of Upper Canada. The building was designated an Ontario Heritage Property in 1990 and a National Historic Site of Canada in 1979. Color Study Using Tweaked Stripes

Such glass-block windows were common in soviet industrial buildings. Picture was taken in Skrunda 1, former soviet military base, now abandoned.

I often walk past this house and am always enchanted with the way it is framed by the trees that surround it. I think this is a lovely image, and I hope you do too.
