I created a colourful background and had been wanting to do something more with it. This is what it became. To be completely honest, my daughter picked the Toad out of a couple of alternatives. I drew the Toad in with pencil and covered everything outside it with a layer of Gesso. Then I used a sharpie to create the lines before filling in some more colour in acrylics.
