Gingaford, Dartmoor Posters and Art Prints

This view comes from a trip I did a few years back, getting off the train at Ivybridge for a walk over Dartmoor and a wildcamp, before walking out the next morning to Totnes. It was early on a May morning when I came to this spot, marked by a fingerpost sign that named it Gingaford. Its looking South over the farmland of the South Hams area of Devon. I've painted it in oil on a 20x8 inch board, using mainly mauve, naples yellow,hooker green and titanium white, with small amounts of vandyke brown, cobalt blue and yellow green added to vary the colours.
