Pastel on Canson MiTientes tex paper - black 45 x 35cm There are 2 beautiful grey gums at our new home in Bonny HIlls. They look like mother & daughter - the mother tree is older & greyer with the daughter growing very close. The bark is darker brown near the base of the tree & sheds in big sheets during the summer, revealing the beautiful colours underneath. As the tree gets older the orange coloured bark bleaches to softer salmons & greys. They are nearly 20 meters tall & this is looking up towards the canopy.

Prints from my original pastel illustration on paper. I used some beautiful blue pastels given to me by a loved one, from Toulouse, France, for this drawing. This is a fanciful representation of these majestic multipurpose eucalypts (E.tereticornis), and the heart shape conveys a love of nature.

Toothaches, scientifically known as odontalgia, are exactly what they sound like, the pain generated from either one or multiple teeth. A toothache can make it difficult to eat, sleep, or sometimes even talk. While they are not worth celebrating, we all can hear up the ways to stop them for good.
