Norns T-Shirts

The Norns are beings from the Norse Mythology. They’re said to rule over the fate of men and live at the roots of the Yggdrasil.

The Norns spin the strand of fate for both gods and men. Skuld, Verdandi and Urdr are known to be benevolent, but others are not as kind. Mistresses of fate and destiny are the official logo for Fate of the Norns.

Yggdrasil, the tree of the universe, upon whose branches and roots hang the 9 worlds. Asgard and Vanagard, worlds of gods. Muspelheim and Jotunheim, realms of giants. Alfgard and Svartalfheim, domains of the elves. Nidavellir, kongdom of the dwarves.

When the world was young, the Vanir goddess Freya created her Vanfolk. These talented animals explored the world tree Yggdrasil, and were the custodians of Phantom-Wood. Nidhogg the dragon was kept at bay due to the bravery and ingenuity of the Vanfolk.

Fenrir was the god devouring wolf in Norse mythology. Son of Loki, Fenrir terrorized the gods until they bound him to a magical stone. It is said that during Ragnarok, he will break his fetters and will swallow Odin whole!

Gulveig was the Norse goddess of riches and avarice. She single-handedly ended the war of the gods. She is known as the goddess of secrets, acting as the keeper of forbidden lore.

The Viking apocalypse is known as Ragnarok. The gods and giants will meet upon the battlefield Vigridr. Loki and Heimdall will kill one another. Odin will be swallowed by Loki's wolf Fenrir. Thor will kill Jormungand, but die from the serpent's poison. With his fiery sword, Surt will sunder the sky and Yggdrasil will burn. The fates, or the norns

The Norns, who held the fates of all beings in the cosmos, bore the responsibilities to weave the fates of all beings and also the Web of Wyrd.

Hel's deciples are known as the Angels of Death

Fate of the Norns - The Illuminated Edda Hild wields the legendary sword Dainsleif. The sword is said to be able to bring back the dead from the grave. Hild used it to reanimate the dead every night so that two armies could fight once more when the sun arose the next day. Hervor wields the legendary sword Tyrfing. Tyrfing is said to carry three curses. These curses would shed the blood of the innocent. Once the blade was drawn, Hel would be receiving an unexpected guest, someone who was not meant to die this day. Show your Viking pride!

At the beginning of Helreið Brynhildar, Brunhild's corpse is burned and she begins her journey to the Hel, the Scandinavian underworld. On her way, she encounters a giant who accuses her of having blood on her hands. In response, Brunhild tells the story of her life, defending herself and justifying her actions. She accuses the Burgundians of having deceived her. Brunhild hopes to spend the afterlife together with Sigurd.
