The Hobie 16 is the most popular Hobie Cat, both for recreational and racing purposes and as a one-design racer. The boat is 16 ft 7 in long, 7 ft 11 in wide, and has a mast 26 ft 6 in tall, but only weighs 320 pounds.

The Wianno Senior is a 25-foot gaff rigged sloop. The boat is raced on Nantucket Sound by four Cape Cod yacht clubs: Bass River Yacht Club, Hyannis Yacht Club, Hyannis Port Yacht Club, and Wianno Yacht Club. The Wianno Senior,'Victura', was owned by John F. Kennedy, and was his favorite boat.

The Westsail 32 is a 32 foot -12.2 meter, monohull sailboat designed by William Atkin, William Crealock, and Colin Archer and built by Westsail Corporation between 1971 and 1981. 830 were built over a period of about ten years.

The 15-ft. 6-in. Windmill is a light-weight two person one-design sailing dinghy designed by Clark Mills in 1953. It was designed to be inexpensive and build able by amateur woodworkers, but current hulls are constructed of fiberglass.

The Sabot is an 8 foot sailing dinghy that is sailed and raced singlehandedly usually by young sailors in various parts of the world.

Frank Butler had a dream. In July 1969, he designed and built the first Catalina 22 in North Hollywood, California. This petite, family-friendly cruising sailing sloop was his fledgling company’s inaugural boat. Met with runaway success, Catalina Yachts launched the Catalina 27 and shortly thereafter the Catalina 30. By February 1975, Butler’s projected construction of 100 Catalina 22s had been exceeded, with an astonishing 5,000 hulls in the water. The Catalina is one of the most popular sailboats on the water, and what many used to learn to sail. This drawing is a celebration of that shared experience.
