This beautiful and unusual vintage inspired FRENCH patisserie print shows the most popular cakes and pastries that you'd find in a typical French patisserie or bakery. It contains beautifully designed cakes and patisserie style illustrations. The background is designed to look like aged/vintage paper to give it the unique charm like reminiscent of what you might find in the pages of an old book. There is an option of a fresh white background too.

Suzani is a type of embroidered and decorative tribal textile made in Central Asian countries. This pattern is an homage to that style. I have used my basic Suzani motif and reconfigured it to create a decorative horizontal stripe. Elaborate, geometric and pretty in bright pastel colours on an elegant white ground.
