Philippine Tarsier Tapestries

This cute little guy is a prosimian, a relative of the monkey from the Philippines and nearby areas. Besides being an adorable little Tarsier, he is one of the smallest primates in the world, smaller than a squirrel! This is also one of the only purely carnivorous primates, they eat lizards, bugs like grasshoppers, and a few small mammals like mice.

Although the gruop was once more widespread,all of its species living today are found in Maritime Southeast Asia,specfically the Philippines,Malaysia,Indonesia and Brunei.
