This is a work by the Albuquerque artist Beverley Magennis (b. 1942) in the Albuquerque Museum. In ceramic and ceramic tile, it reflects her fusion of the aesthetic with the material -- she has done works of art for the city and has tiled her entire home exterior, as well as landscaping her yard with ceramic tile works (the tile for many of which was unused tiles donated by local contractors).
