1960s - The Domino Club - 25 Trinity Place off Sutter Street - Opening about 1940, in time for World War II). was a live entertainment venue featuring jazz bands. Performers included the Bell Sisters, the Ronnie Klemper Orchestra (known for the song "Cecelia") and others. The owner was Charlie Anderson, who collected paintings of nudes. He decorated the club with his collection and even featured live female nude models which artist Roberto Lupetti would paint for the patrons. Another artist named Irving Sinclair, painted a large nude called "Gloria", which hung over the bar. He was a set designer for 20th Century Fox Studios. He also painted pin-ups and magazine covers
