Bronze Sculpture Baseball T-Shirts

Eagles and Prey is the oldest known sculpture in any New York City park. On the western edge of the Mall, the bronze statue is particularly notable for its level of exquisite detail. Cast in Paris in 1850, the sculpture was gifted to the City by Gordon Webster Burnham and installed in Central Park in 1863. It was created by Christophe Fratin, who produced a series of small bronze pieces that were thought to be fanciful and romantic in tone. Eagles and Prey illustrates his interest in the elemental forces of nature: a helpless goat is caught in the talons of two birds of prey. The work's rich surface texture and anatomical detail are typical of Fratin's style.

Independence Monument in the Mall Gardens on the outskirts of Valletta city and approaching the suburb of Floriana. The monument commemorates the independence of Malta from Britain in 1964. Created by Bonnici, it merges the abstract with the figurative as the female figure (an allegory of Malta) strides forward into the unknown as she liberates herself from the shackles of the past (symbolised by the abstract bands beneath her) whilst tightly holding aloft the national flag in one hand.

This is a close-up image of the monumental equestrian bronze statue of King José I (the Marquis of Pombal), which is centerpiece of the Praça do Comércio square in Lisbon. King Jose I coordinated a massive rebuilding effort of the entire plaza and the arch after the great earthquake of November 1755 that was followed by a tsunami and a fire that destroyed most of Lisbon and many other buildings by the river. One of the things you can see in front of Notre Dame Cathedral is the bronze equestrian statue - Charlemagne et ses Leudes (Charlemagne and his guards), which was created by brothers Louis and Charles Rochet in 1878. This bronze statue of Charlemagne shows the King of the Franks on horseback. He is holding a lance or staff while being guided by two leudes, which are believed to be the figures of Oliver and Roland. Charlemagne holds an important place in European history, being the first Emperor of Western Europe around 800AD, known at that time as the Carolingian Empire. The Statue of Charlemagne is one of several interesting things to see around Notre Dame and is well worth a few minutes of your time when visiting the attractions...

The Equestrian Statue of King Henri IV is a bronze statue located on the Ile de la Cite close to Pont Neuf (one of the most famous and the oldest bridge in Paris, named by King Henri IV himself as "New Bridge" as it was the very first one constructed without houses). This statue is actually a replica of the original dating fback rom the 1600s, however, this particular statue was put in place in 1818 and is one of the many monuments in Paris that you can discover today. The initial design of this memorial involved a female Air Raid Warden sheltering children; however, this was simplified until it became the final design.The bronze monument stands 22 feet (6.7 m) high,[4] 16 feet (4.9 m) long and 6 feet (1.8 m) wide. The lettering on the sides replicates the typeface used on war time ration books. There are 17 individual sets of clothing and uniforms around the sides, symbolizing the hundreds of different jobs women undertook in World War II and then gave back for the homecoming men at the end of the war. These outfits include uniforms as worn by the Women's Land Army, Women's Royal Naval Service, a nursing cape, a police overall and a welding mask.
