I was in Sydney recently and had the luxury of being able to wander around the Harbour with my camera taking photos. I was really excited when I saw this lady and her family with her umbrella.

Poole Bridge Number of views as of 25th April 2016 = 300. This shot shows Poole Bridge, which is situated at the western end of Poole Quay (Dorset, England) and links the main town of Poole with the suburb of Hamworthy, the site of Poole's ferry terminals. The bridge was constructed in 1927, replacing an older swing bridge on the same site and it is still in regular use, being lifted 7 times a day to allow maritime craft to pass from Poole Harbour into Holes Bay and vice versa. In the foreground are the Royal National Lifeboat 'City of Sheffield' (a Tyne class lifeboat formerly stationed at Whitby) and the Harbour Police RIB. Tug Boat Herbert Number of views as of 24th April 2019 = 1080. Under a lowering sky, Poole Harbour Commissioners tug, the Herbert Ballam, moored up at Poole Quay, Dorset, England. Rear left is the modern Sunseeker factory, which turns out highly desirable luxury motor cruisers, whilst Sydenhams wood yard can be seen on the right just beyond the town lifting bridge. San Sebastian harbour, Spain

Jane Martin's, Morwellham Number of views as of 16th July 2016 = 560. Imagine you've just stepped back in time, about 170 years. This is the scene outside Jane Martin's, Ship's Chandler, Grocer & Tea Dealer's shop at Morwellham Quay in Devon, England. Morwellham was established in the 10th century by Benedectine monks from Tavistock Abbey to carry goods to and from Plymouth. Later, tin, lead and silver ore were transported from the Quay. However its heyday did not come until the 1840s when rich copper deposits were discovered at the Devon Great Consols mine, just 4 miles away. At this time, 30 thousand tons of copper ore were shipped from Morwellham each year. Now an open-air museum, it is hard to imagine the scale of operations at Morwe...

Gloucester Docks Number of views as of 18th June 2017 = 300. Founded in AD 97 by the Romans, the city of Gloucester (Gloucestershire, England) has long been an important commercial centre and port. Linked to the Severn estuary by the Gloucester and Sharpness canal, the port was strategically important due to its proximity to Birmingham, less than 50 miles away to the north. The many warehouses lining the quayside (including Biddle and Shipton shown here) date from the port's heyday in the 19th century. They were mainly built for the storage and processing of imported wheat, barley, oats, maize, linseed and cotton seed. Most have now been restored and converted for office and residential use. On a steamy hot Australia Day, 2011 Sydneysiders were flocking to the water .. beaches, harbours, anywhere cooler. Manly, on the northern side of the harbour is a great place to be on a hot day.
