I am not interested in painting realistic birds, because that is not interesting to me. I much prefer playing with abstract shapes, and colour, and I love to draw and paint without much of a plan, and see what shows up. It is similar to going out without a plan, and just going with the flow, and making it up as you go. I love being in the moment, and the act of creating.
