It's Florence Y'all!

The amazing city of Shanghai. My first stay in this city, even my first visit in China. I enjoyed it very much. Just three days are too short to explore the whole city. This picture which taken from the "bottle-opener", the Shanghai World Financial Center, a realy amazing builing overlooking the Jin Mao Tower, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Huangpu River and The Bund. Autumn Sunrise lights up the Monastic City at Glendalough, Co Wicklow, Ireland. Glendalough in Co Wicklow is home to one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland. This early Christian monastic settlement was founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century and from this developed the ‘Monastic City’. The ‘City’ consists of a number of monastic remains, and the most impressive being the Round Tower which stands 30m high.

The House In The Clouds Number of views as of 12th April 2018 = 550. Around 70 feet high, the House in the Clouds can be found in the small, east coast village of Thorpeness (Suffolk, England). Built in 1923 as a water tower, the black-painted weather-boarding was intended to disguise its original use. During the Second World War, the building came under fire from anti-aircraft guns based nearby (sounds like an episode from Dad's Army) and the water tank had to be repaired using its own steel, resulting in a reduction of its capacity from 50,000 gallons to 30,000 gallons (140,000 litres). In mid September this year, I had the opportunity of going to downtown Toronto and photographing some of the sights in and around the city. One thing I have always wanted to do is take a boat across Lake Ontario to Center Island (around a 15 - 20 minute boat ride) and photograph the city from a distance. This is the best I could do considering how choppy the boat ride was. P.S. Toronto is not the center of the universe as most Torontonians think... LOL. Hope you like this. Dark clouds threaten as we walked around the Garreg Ddu Dam in the lower Elan Valley. This is a low, completely submerged dam which plays a vital role in maintaining a constant supply of water to Birmingham. It also supports masonry pillars carrying the access roadway to the neighbouring valley of the River Claerwen. Garreg Ddu holds water back on the upstream side so that water can always be extracted at the Foel Tower.

You will, also, see a sign on the edge of town "Welcome to Bandera, Texas, Est.1853, Cowboy Capital of the World" and taking a stroll around the courthouse you will find the Monument honoring the Cowboy Champions of Bandera County.
