Sick and Tired Baseball T-Shirt

'Sick and Tired' A3 Ink It's been years since my last self portrait and I found myself in a good opportunity recently to make an up to date one. Fannie Lou Hamer famously quoted the phrase "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired" and whilst her context for the phrase was racial equality, the phrase itself has stuck with me on my worst days. Not the same degree of brevity, but it's a good quote. Last week I was able to crack on with plenty of artwork due to being stuck in isolation with the dreaded C-19. This self portrait is a product of my isolation, kinda like the artist equivalent to "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".
