Kawaii Halloween Ghost Pattern by Robert Phelps Baseball T-Shirt

I made this pattern today in honor of my Great Aunt Ruth who passed on this week. I call it “Flying Free”. Not even cancer could strike the smile from her face or dim her light. She was a kind, adventurous soul who roamed where she pleased and brought just the right amount of saltiness wherever she went. I’d like to think she defiantly brings her joie de vivre to the afterlife. I know it may seem silly or morbid to paint ghosts but I don’t like to hide from death or fixate on loss. I like the idea that our dearly departed are riding the breeze and enjoying the next life in some way. I think she would like knowing she will always be remembered for the fun she gifted us with.
