I stood and watched the speed at which the tide came in and rose towards this wall - along the menai straits. The straits being notorious for catching people out and being stranded - due to its rapid change in tidal conditions. On a high tide, the coastal defences, are breached and some of the lower flood plains of agricultural farmlands are flooded... I decided upon this long exposure capture - illustrating the strength and sturdiness and craftsmanship of the dry stone wall build of rock... compared to the glassy flow of the water.
