Gorilla II Baseball T-Shirt

The Mountain Gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) does not survive in captivity and may only be seen in the wild in the mountains of three countries: Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. They are Critically Endangered, but their numbers are now at about 880 and slowly rising thanks to the tireless efforts of rangers, soldiers and others. The species first came to the attention of most of us through the work of American Primatologist, Dian Fossey. Fossey lived in the mountains, studying the gorillas from 1967 until her murder in 1985.
