Dog - Tibetan Mastiff - Black Baseball T-Shirt

The Tibetan Mastiff is an ancient breed originating over 5,000 years ago in Tibet. They are loyal, sure-footed, and excellent guard dogs. Standing 26 inches at the shoulder and weighing well over 100 pounds, these giants are only made larger by the extreme amount of fluff they grow. Little is known about the Tibetan Mastiff before 1800 in which Captain Samuel Turner mentioned these “huge dogs” in his memoirs. They’ve often been gifts to world leaders such as the Queen of England and President of the Unite States. Despite it’s age, the breed has only recently been recognized by the American Kennel Club, where it was added to the Working Group in 2007.
