The series is a love letter to movies such as: THE GOONIES, POLTERGEIST, JAWS, ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, E.T., and many more. It's set in the early 80's so that magical, innocent vibe is lived out through the tweenagers, clothing, set pieces and fantastic synth and pop hits of the era.
