Forest Leaves - Leaf Series Baseball T-Shirt

This is a mixed media work and the first in a series of leaf images - it has a painted background which has been over printed using hand carved leaf lino cuts. Whilst it has many native trees, Canberra also has a great many introduced species of deciduous trees, which change colour in autumn. Such a display of colour is not something I have been used to seeing and I found it so thrilling that I felt inspired to created a number of autumn images in various media.
