Holiday 2021 Starts NOW!
Hey designers! Just like 2020, 2021 has been a year like no other. Nobody knows exactly what the next few months will bring, but we're expecting a very different holiday season this year.
One big prediction? Holiday shopping will reach it's peak before Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with many more people shopping online and via mobile this year. We've compiled some tips and insights to help you get your shop organized!
Holiday shopping will start earlier.
Thanksgiving and Black Friday traditionally mark the start of the holiday shopping season, but many companies are kicking off their holiday 2021 sales much earlier, with nearly a third of U.S consumers planning to start their shopping before Halloween, and 27% of holiday shoppers already starting in September!
More people will be shopping online, especially via mobile.
With shopping from your phone becoming faster and easier, experts say that this year, more people will be shopping via mobile rather than using their desktop. This past year, TeePublic has been working hard to optimize our mobile checkout process, with new mobile website redesigns, and the ease of using Apple Pay to purchase.
Last year, 75% of shoppers said they plan to make their holiday purchases online, and this year E-commerce trends will stay strong globally through the New Year.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday will be bigger than ever.
The holiday season typically results in a 5x increase to traffic and conversion rates on-site. Since we’ve already been experiencing holiday-level site traffic this year, we're expecting our Black Friday and Cyber Monday numbers to skyrocket!
