Popeye and Olive Oyl! I grew up on classic cartoons my parents and grandparents grew up with. This is one of the ones that dates back to my grandparents' time. Bubonic Plague was one of the darkest points in human history and a very fascinating subject. One of my favorite (weird to say regards to the topic) aspects were the plague doctor masks. The reason for the long "beak" was to put scented objects to help combat the smell of death in the places they had to frequent.

Originally an ink sketch on paper, I scanned it and colored it on the computer. If you don't know what a drider is, it's a drow/spider abomination.
