Deer Woman (Fairy Tale Fashion Series 5) Crewneck Sweatshirt

In Native American folklore, Deer Woman is a shape-shifting spirit. She is a helper and protector of woman, sometimes aiding in fertility and childbirth. She also appears in human form at dances, and will lure men who are abusive to women into the forest, where she either gets them lost and leaves them for dead, drives them mad, or stomps them to death with her hooves, which she has even in human form. The border of this illustration is a pattern derived from traditional Ojibwe embroidery. "Deer Woman" is the fifth illustration in my Fairy Tale Fashion series.
