Egyptian Mythos Crewneck Sweatshirt

This is an acrylic painting depicting Egyptian mythology. On the left side Sehemet the goddess of destruction and fertility and ra the god of all gods (in his animal form) at her feet stand in front of sekhemet’s husbands temple on earth. On the right is Anubis the god of embalming sits on a throne holding a scaled scepter with a creature called Ammit at his feet. In ancient Egypt people believed that when you die your soul is measured in the afterlife. If you soul is heavier than the feather of the goddess of wisdom your soul is eaten by ammit.
