Design based on a photo I took during one of my visits to Florence. It depicts the interior of Cappella dei Pazzii, with the detail of the ceiling.

Alfriston Clergy House in Alfriston, Polegate, East Sussex, England, was the first property to be acquired by the National Trust. It was purchased in 1896 for £10.[ The house lies adjacent to the Church of St. Andrew. The house is a 14th-century Wealden hall house. Although the name reflects the fact that the parish priest and his housekeeper used it, the house was originally built as a farmer's house. It is a very modest property — not at all like the grand rectories that many Church of England clergy occupied by the 19th century. It is a low-ceilinged, two-storey, timber-framed building with a thatched roof. Part of the house was rebuilt in the 17th century. This is a view of the glass and steel roof of Brookfield Place in downtown Toronto. The web-like structure above the concourse is quite stunning. I was really drawn to the repeating arch structures, diminishing in size as you look along the roof. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the image.

This image is of the cloister within the old Coimbra Cathedral. I have to say that I like the cloisters of these wonderful old cathedrals in Europe. They are peaceful places; they seem to instill a sense of tranquility.

This is an image of one of the incredibly ornate rooms in the Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen. The palace is today, the seat of the Danish government, the Supreme Court of Denmark, and several parts of it are set aside for for use by the Danish monarch, which makes it the only building in the world that houses the three supreme powers of any one country.

This image is of the "Round Tower", looking up through the ruins of the cathedral at the Rock of Cashel, in Ireland. Today, the tower remains as the oldest and tallest structure within the complex, with construction having started in the very early part of the 12th century, 1100. While the tower is the focal point of the image, the remarkable ruins of the old cathedral serve to frame the tower in the background.

Creation

The Coastline Conference and Event Center, a convention center in Wilmington, North Carolina, was constructed in the late 19th century for the Atlantic Coastline Railroad (ACL) and was used as its headquarters from the early 1900s to 1960s. During that time, ACL was the largest employer and contributor to the area's economic growth. The restoration and conversion of the ACL to the Coastline Conference and Event Center began in 1989 and was completed while still preserving the historic character of the building. As the transformation occurred, attention to detail was taken as Coastline Conference and Event Center became the ideal wedding venue and conference space for many successful contemporary events.
