Acrylics on canvas 100 cm x 75 cm It took a long time to complete this. It used to be a totally different painting, but I wasn't totally happy with it, even though a lot of people told me they liked it a lot. So I decided it needed more colour and depth. This is one of those paintings where I gave myself permission to just let loose and have fun. It was lucky I also had a deadline where I had to finish it, or I'd still be working on it, no doubt. Colourful cats, are a favourite subject for me. I was first inspired by the art of Laurel Burch, but inspiration comes from many places.

An experimental digital reworking of an Acrylic painting. I was just having some fun with one of my painting apps, and quite liked this new version. It’s not the end of the story. I’m still working on the canvas. Have made some changes, now there’s no turning back.

This is a watercolour, I painted a while back. I was wondering how it would look with a black background, and liked it a lot. I painted in the background on procreate, and haven’t yet decided what I will do with the actual painting. We shall see.

At least I know enough to take a good high res photo, just in case, so at least it's available for printing purposes.

This is an experimental painting, which is an acrylic painting which I worked on in procreate to create the shading.

Watercolour on 1//4 sheet cold pressed Arches 300 gsm These colourful cats were created just for fun. They were just a warm up exercise, on a day when I needed to just relax in the studio. There was no pressure to produce a masterpiece. Just playing with my watercolour, while listening to music. I do like the result, and I was hoping that they might surprise me and look good on some of the products here on Redbubble. :-) xx
