These days, experimental physicists are working at such extreme energy levels, it seems that almost anything is possible. We just have to be wary of those clumsy experimentalists who may, one day, accidentally rip the fabric of space-time!

I created this when I was drawing the beginning of the universe where my creations will settle in; This was the 4th painting that I did, originally through a traditional media, but I digitally re-worked on this to post it here. I recommend you pick a light color for this one, it works great with white!

Ever wanted to know what it would look like to go at the speed of light? The images in this series are dedicated to just that. While we do not know "exactly" what lightspeed or warpspeed will really look like, this might be a pretty good look. On top of this, the design is pretty awesome too.

James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), artwork. This is an infrared telescope that is scheduled to be launched in 2018. It will have a 6.5-metre-diameter mirror (yellow), with which it will study the formation of stars and planetary systems, and the history of the universe. By using infrared wavelengths, the JWST will be able to see through much of the dust that obscures visible light. It will also study dark matter, which is thought to form the majority of the matter in the universe. The telescope dimensions are 24 by 12 by 12 metres. Structures include the primary mirror (yellow), the sunshield (folded), and the control system (lower centre).

Reflection nebula. Hubble Space Telescope (HST) image of the reflection nebula IC 349. This nebula (also known as Barnard's Merope Nebula) shines as it reflects the light of the nearby star Merope (23 Tauri), which is out of frame at upper right. The nebula is composed mainly of small dust particles. IC 349 is so close to Merope that the star's light and solar wind pushes the dust away from it, a phenomenon known as radiation pressure. This affects smaller dust particles more than larger ones. The spikes seen pointing towards upper right comprise larger particles which have not been blown backwards as much as others.

First deep field image released from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). This full-colour infrared image shows galaxy cluster SMACS 0723, which lies 4.6 billion light years from Earth. It is the deepest, most detailed infrared image taken to date (July 2022). The galaxy cluster acts as a gravitational lens, allowing even more distant galaxies (red arcs) to be seen. The light from these galaxies has been travelling for over 13 billion years. The JWST was launched in December 2021. Composite image obtained by the Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam).
