Silver Irish Teapot cut from a map of 1883 Dublin Ireland

Exclusive to Irish Nostalgia's art catalogue, this is a hand-drawn illustration by artist Alan Hogan featuring a rare elevation view of the old Abbey Theatre in Dublin, Ireland. The Abbey Theatre has been the starting place of many fine and famous Irish actors and actresses since its establishment in 1904. However, in 1952 a huge fire eventually led to the famous theatre's closure and ultimate demolition 10 years later. This is one of only two drawings Hogan made of this old theatre in it's former glory.

I love cities. My plans and skyline prints are drawn in a minimalist and pure style. When choosing the cities, I follow my inclinations.
