Aulacephalodon was a pig-sized, not-mammal early relative of mammals, making it a non-mammalian synapsid. Like all dicynodonts within this clade, it had a beak for cutting plants. It lived before the dinosaurs. It is from the Permian period of geologic time, and lived in South Africa. Note from the uploader --- although this is a digital artwork, it is also hand-drawn.

Keratocephalus was a plant-eating dinocephalian, and lived in the Permian period of geological deep time --- the period right before the one in which dinosaurs first appear. It was hunted by large carnivores of its time and area, like Anteosaurus.
