Kokeshi is traditional wooden dolls made for children. It has dozens of variations in faces, sizes and body patterns. Even it is categorized as dolls, it doesn't have both arms and legs. So I don't know how kids play with them!

The Magician has at his disposal all the tools of the natural elements to manifest his own reality, he owns his life, it is the bridge between heaven and earth and has the hability to open his own way.

The Moon is the mystery that dwells in our subconscious, it is the voice that speaks from the depths of our being, but it is also our ability to connect with intuition and inner wisdom.

Inspired by my extensive collection of both traditional and creative Kokeshi, blended with my love of nerd culture, I offer this design inspired by Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Applejack from the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic animated series in the style of Japanese Kokeshi dolls by myself, Danica Bergagnini.

Sakura is a doll inspired by the Japanese Kokeshi dolls, mine are not exactly like the originals, they are just inspired and loosely based on them.

The energy of the Hierophant speaks of those aspects of life where we live in community, but sometimes this can lead to a certain dogmatism, is not an open aspect but one in which there are many restrictions.

The message of The Hanged Man is to learn to see things from another perspective, even if we are in an uncomfortable position we can see that there are different points of view and that we must consider them to grow.

The Empress speaks of another aspect of the feminine that comes from nurturing others, is a force of nature that is abundant but does not overflow itself because has the ability to give without burning herself out.

The Tower is a cards that speaks about the things that we build but that can collapse without having control of it, it is the divine ray that through destruction leads us to build a better version of ourselves.

Every journey has a beginning and The Fool reminds us that if you want to start something big, you only have to take the first step with confidence, without fear, letting the spirit guide you along the way.

This is the card of those things that are beyond our control, it is the wisdom of the Universe acting for us to reach the place where we have to be and to live the experiences that we need to live to grow. Finally The Happy Squirrel represents all the mysteries of this existence.
