Imagine quitting basic training after four weeks and then having the nerve to appear in public in full military get-up with a chest of medals proudly on show. That, is the British Royal Family for you. Especially when it comes to Prince Edward, here having no shame at all about dressing like this despite having quit basic training after a month.

Dieu et mon droit, which means 'God and my right', is the motto of the monarch of the United Kingdom. It appears on a scroll beneath the shield of the version of the coat of arms of the United Kingdom. The motto is said to have first been used by Richard I (1157–1199) as a battle cry and presumed to be a reference to his French ancestry (indeed he spoke French and Occitan but knew only basic English) and the concept of the divine right of the monarch to govern. It was adopted as the royal motto of England by King Henry V (1386–1422) with the phrase "and my right" referring to his claim by descent to the French crown.

For the longest time I've used the tag "Crownless King" to make fun of the fact I had no hair. Little did I know this was actually an asian term for the following, which I thought was really cool: Expression, Noun 1. person who has not won any major awards or titles despite being the best in a particular field; uncrowned king​ Expression, Noun 2. person who wields power without holding an official rank or title
