Cromer Pier, Norfolk, UK An aerial view of this amazing pier sat in the North Sea in Cromer on the East coastline of the UK. Cromer Pier is a Grade II listed seaside pier in the civil parish of Cromer on the north coast of the English county of Norfolk, 25 miles due north of the city of Norwich in the United Kingdom. The pier is the home of the Cromer Lifeboat Station and the Pavilion Theatre. I know the sea does not look very inviting but the colour is mainly down to the fine sand and a bit of silt but on a nice sunny day the blue reflects from the sky and makes it look a lot more appealing. Note:This design won 7th place out of couple hundred entries in the June 2019 Spoonflower design challenge. ;-). Rough waters and windy days are just what this old sailor lives for. No easy days just interesting days. He is headed to a rare glass float today in his little Midnight Sun fishing vessel. Actually that was the name of my dads fishing boat in Alaska years ago. Life is not about a easy life it is about LIVING this life! Work done in a paint by number style.

A view from across the creek to the picturesque village of Bosham (pronounced 'Bozzam') in West Sussex. Seen here are the houses clustered round the harbour with the parish church of Holy Trinity in the background. The roadway round the harbour floods at each high tide - so visitors beware! The village and its church feature in the Bayeaux Tapestry which shows Harold Godwinson and his followers riding here befoe setting sail from the quay for his meeting with Duke William of Normandy in 1064.
