The Star is a card that holds a dear place in our hearts. In its upright position, it can symbolize spirituality, hope, and renewal. In its reversed position, it can symbolize despair, a loss of faith, and disconnection. Regardless of the position it is in, this card offers so much insight into oneself. We decided this card was a perfect choice to showcase one of my favorite, yet often overlooked, spooky characters -- the siren. This card depicts the image of a beautifully haunting siren sitting on a rock along the shore. In her left hand, she holds a jug, which represents the subconscious mind.
