The most famous of them being Lagertha. According to the legend, Lagertha was a Norwegian Viking shieldmaiden who married the famous Norse chieftain Ragnar Lothbrok. Vegvisir translates into “That Which Shows the Way” in Icelandic. In the Huld Manuscript, it says this about the Vegvisir: “If this sign is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known.”

They will fight to the death for him, even when they don't always think their leader is right. The Jomsvikings are currently led by Lord Harekr. Jomsborg is seen as a place of safety for pagan Vikings who are fleeing the Christian Vikings in Norway.
