Taken on the outskirts of Haworth, Nr. Keighley, Bradford, West Yorkshire. 7 Frames exposed from -3.0 - +3.0 EV were merged in DXO HDR fex Pro 2. The finished HDR merge was transferred to GMX Painter and manually painted to create the final image. Taken on a Canon 70D Using a 55 mm Focal Length.

More years back than I care to remember, I took a winter hike (well it was March) up Wild Boar Fell on the Yorkshire / Cumbria border. Walking through the snow across a farm beforehand I came across these hungry sheep (this view just within the Yorkshire Dales national park). Its taken me a few years to get back to the photo and paint this snowy winter scene in oil on a 16x12 inch board.

Malham Cove in the Yorkshire Dales National Park is less than one mile ahead and the clouds were breaking to give us some better light.

Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales area of outstanding natural beauty lies covered in a blanket of snow. To the right of the image stands the impressive Bolton Castle, in the distance the view west takes in the tops of Ingleborough and Whernside

Pen-y-ghent is the lowest of Yorkshire's Three Peaks, and usually the first climbed on the circular Three Peaks Walk. Along with the adjacent Plover Hill, it is seen here from near the Ingleborough footpath above Horton-in-Ribblesdale on an August afternoon.
