My first racing bike was a Lilac Carlton Corsa, this is a modified version in aqua similar to the Equipe colourway. It still sports the Weinmann centre pull brakes but everything else has been altered, including the dimpled French style full aluminium mudguards, cream Schwalbe Delta Cruiser tyres and leather Brooks Swallow saddle. I really enjoyed recreating the chrome effect in paint, so popular on 60s and 70s bicycles. The painting has two coats of protective professional varnish and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
