Virgin River Hike - 2 © Hoodie

This image is taken during one of my early morning hikes at Zion National Park. You are looking at a small cascade of the Virgin River (a tributary of the Colorado River), which runs throughout the park. The river is about 160 miles (260 km) long, and was designated Utah's first wild and scenic river in 2009 during the centennial celebration of Zion National Park. This specific location is surrounded by steep rocks and overhanging limestone walls. Very well worth the long hike to the bottom of the river. Hope you like this image.
