Oporto from Vila Nova Gaia Hoodie

This is Porto, or Oporto in Portugal, a beautiful city with a great history and it is also the home of Port Wine. The boats in the foreground are called Rabelos and they were traditionally used to transport barrels of Port wine from the Vineyards further up the River Douro, down to the wine caves and lodges in Porto where it matures and becomes vintage port. Nowadays the boats are mainly used for boat trips up and down the river. The bridge in the background is very famous, it is a double decker metal arch bridge andit is called Dom Luis 1 Bridge.
